General conditions of sale
REIMBURSEMENT / POSTPONEMENT
Group lessons, individual lessons or private engagements will under no circumstances be reimbursed.
Accidents, illness or cancellation shall not give rise to reimbursement, except under extreme circumstances (loi de modernisation de l'économie Decret du 18 Mars 2009), and in the event of a total shutdown of the ski lifts caused by bad weather.
INSURANCES
Students are not insured by the Ski School. They must have their own personal insurance ("Carte Neige" or similar).
LESSON TICKETS
Tickets are valid only for the dates indicated on them. They cannot be reimbursed, nor used at a later dates
RESERVATIONS
Your reservation must be sent to us at least 3 weeks prior to the start of your classes. After this date, no reservation will be guaranteed.
All reservation must be sent together with a payment corresponding to the total price of your lessons. The ESF will directly send the lesson tickets to the address indicated on your reservation form. This will save you precious time when you arrive at the resort.
If you cancel your lessons less than 8 days prior to your arrival, an amount corresponding to 50% of the amount paid shall be kept by the ESF as a forfeit payment. If you cancel your lessons more than 8 days prior to your arrival, an amount corresponding to 20% of the amount paid shall be kept by the ESF as a forfeit payment.
The remaining balance, once administrative costs have been deducted, shall be reimbursed to you upon your first request.
Ski passes are not included in the ski lesson prices.
GROUP LESSONS
The ESF offers no group lessons on Saturdays, except during the French national holidays and only for children.
The number of students in the group lessons has no maximum limit. There are group lessons with a maximum limit of 8 students during the French national holidays.
The ESF reserves the right to cancel and reimburse group lessons in which less than three students have signed up.
Lesson schedules and duration may vary according to snow conditions, and especially at the beginning and the end of winter season: no claims shall be accepted concerning these modifications.
SAFETY
All students who sign up for off-piste group lessons or private engagements must be aquipped with avalanche resue beacons (ARB).
The ESF shall not be held liable for the quality and reliability of ski equipment or other equipment used by the students.
It is highly recommended that all children wear helmets.
SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
Any dispute whatsoever, regarding any/all matters, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French civil and commercial courts, including any/all summary proceedings.
