Expert Grand Ski classes
A fabulous morning's escape to pastures new!
Level required: Class 4. Adults only.
- Mornings from 9.00am to 1.00pm. Groups of 4 to 6 maximum.
- Mountain discovery trips.
- A choice of off-the-beaten track itineraries depending on prevailing snow and weather conditions.
- ESF instructors on duty in the evenings for assistance and information.
Booking at the ski school the day before:
NEW : ARB mandatory and ABS bag are supplied by the ESF
Wearing an ARB (Avalanche Rescue Beacon) is mandatory for all off-piste excursions.
Ski touring
Back to nature
Level required: Class 4. Adults only.
An instructor or a mountain guide accompanies you for a stroll in sealskins on the peaks surrounding Val d'Isère and nearby stations (Sainte Foy, La Rosière...).
Booking at the ski school the day before:

Val d'Isère is internationally famous for its unbelievable off-piste backcountry.
The ESF offers you a wide choice of solutions to have blast, in winter powder or spring snow, discovering new horizons and getting away from it all for a half day, a full day or several days, with certified instructors and high mountain guides.

Organization of the drops and returns to the valley in Italy Valgrisenche.

Snowshoeings courses
Initiation, discovery of snowshoeing all afternoon.
If you prefer the peace and quiet, getting away from it all, the great outdoors and total relaxation, then snowshoe treks are definitely for you !
We grope a bit initially, the first descent, and let's go for adventure!
Equipment required: snowshoes, ski poles and snowshoeing.
Thinking of bringing some money for the lifts (pedestrian ticket) when we go to the top of the area.
Cross-country skiing

The open air, thrills and good humour are the vital ingredients of a cross-country class.

You can try your hand at a multitude of sports in addition to downhill skiing in the surrounding countryside of Val d'Isère.
From the top of the mountains surrounding Val d’Isère you will have views North, South, East and West from the Galise to Mont-Blanc.
